Health

Health Education is an important component of the curriculum at Burnside High School, which is continually being updated in accordance with the Education Standards Act 2001.

In 2010, the delivery of the health curriculum will change in Year 9 and 10. The time will be allocated to the Physical Education and Health Department  who will have three periods per week with each class, two of them for physical education and one for health. It is hoped that this will improve further the delivery for our students of the important messages that are learned through the health curriculum.
