The Environment Group at Burnside High School did their termly ‘Monster Litter Sweep’ at the end of Term One.

Congratulations to each of the Environment Group members who helped with the Monster Litter Sweep at the end of last term.

Over 100 students participated. Thank you to Sophie and Emma for showing off their litter haul at the conclusion of this event.

We are very grateful to this group of students for their commitment to making our Burnside High campus clean and tidy.

During term two, the group will be planting further trees and shrubs along Hewlings Stream that runs through the school grounds. The group to date has planted over 7,000 new trees across our campus and over at Jellie Park.

Everyone is welcome to join the Environment Group. They meet Wednesday after school on the upper grounds.

Thank you to Jon Land for facilitating the termly litter collection and coordinating the Environment Group and their positive actions over the years.
