This week Election Pilot provided us with the Parent Board Election Declaration of Results and our new Board took office.
Thank you to everyone involved in this process. Particularly to the candidates for putting their name forward to be a parent representative on the Burnside High School Board.
We were fortunate to have 23 strong candidates and are pleased to share that our new Board has now taken office. Two incumbents from our previous Board sought re-election and were duly elected, congratulations to Chris Wallace and Sam Brock-Smith.
We would like to welcome Louise Arndt, Marinda Gray and Simi Desor to our Board. We also welcome a new student representative, Minjun Cho and welcome back Murray Paull as the staff representative.
A full handover is in place with the first formal board meeting taking place on Wednesday 29 October.
