Event: Kindo question? Talk to them in person.

June 9, 2026

Powered By Hail

We know that a number of our families have questions about Kindo, so we have arranged for the Auckland based Kindo team to be here in person to answer your questions on Monday 15 June from 5.30pm in our Staffroom.

Earlier this year we simplifed student transactions with the introduction of Kindo. Kindo offers convenient payment options online for donations, activity fees, subject related costs and more.

Kindo is our preferred payment method but we know that some families have questions about its use, so we have arranged for the Kindo team to come down and answer questions face-to-face.

If you’d like to have a chat, here’s the event detail:

When: Monday 15 June

Where: School staffroom (entrance just past Student Services)

Time: 5.30pm – 6.30pm

There will be a short presentation and then plenty of time for questions.

If you’d like to take another look at Kindo in advance of this session you can can get started by using the QR Code below or following the step-by-step instructions that follow.

What to do if you have an automatic payment

If you have an automatic payment setup to pay to Burnside High School or would like to do so, please follow these steps. Start with cancelling your current payment if you have one. If you are new to Kindo please follow the instructions above to download the app or open a free account on the desktop application.

You can then use this guide or the steps below to establish your automatic payment via Kindo. We will ensure that any credit that you have on your account is transferred over to Kindo.

Establishing an automatic payment

Having an automatic payment set up into your myKindo account is easy.

  1. Log in to your myKindo account and select myKindo wallet

  2. Under the online Bank Transfer section are all the details you will need to set up an automatic payment with your bank.

  3. Login into your personal bank and set up the automatic payment, as you would for any other automatic payment.

  4. You will receive a myKindo top up receipt each time the funds are received.

How to get your donation receipt

If you’re wanting to claim back your 33% donation receipt, you can download your donation receipts from your Kindo account to include in your IRD tax return.

Thank you for your support and patience as we work through this change together. We look forward to seeing you on Monday night, if you have any questions that you wish to discuss in person.
