Our School Open Evening is happening on the evening of Tuesday 12 May from 5.45pm. There will be a Principal’s Address three times throughout the evening and tours of the school will take place after each presentation.
The Principal’s Address will be held at 5.45pm, 6.30pm and 7.15pm. Free tickets for your seat in the Aurora Centre are essential and can be secured online now via this link: https://www.burnside.school.nz/school-open-evening-2026/
It will be busy. Last year we welcomed over 2,000 people, so please plan and organise your visit well. Please note that there is very limited parking. Our main entrance is right beside the Aurora Centre which will be in full use throughout the evening. This is a safety issue given the number of people that we will have with us on the evening, so please respect this and make alternative arrangements.
This is always a fabulous event to showcase what Burnside High School can provide for prospective students and there is always plenty of current students and staff on hand to share their knowledge of what makes us such a unique centre of educational excellence.
