What’s been happening in the Library?

It’s hard to believe we’re at the end of Week 5 already. So far, it’s been all go at the Library this term!

  • We’ve enjoyed welcoming everyone back as well as meeting all of the new students to BHS.

  • Miss Simons has taken 20 Year 9 English classes for Library Orientations.

  • Year 9 and 10 English classes have started their fortnightly Library visits.

Student Librarians

It’s been great to have our returning Student Librarians back and to see the Senior students step up into leadership roles. We are in the process of recruiting Junior Librarians, we held a meeting for interested students who are now working through the application process.

Blind Date with a Book

Mrs Wilson and Mrs Boardman worked hard getting 70 books ready for our Valentine’s Day Blind Date with a book event!

50 lucky books were selected by students who went in the draw to win books and chocolate. Our winners were two Year 9 students:

Phoenyx and George – Congratulations!

Read and Win

This competition is back!

Get a BHS rewards card bookmark from the Library, read four books, tell us about them and go in the draw to win prizes!
