We are incredibly proud to share that four of our Level 3 Visual Arts students from 2025 have been selected for this year’s Top Art exhibition.
The Top Art Exhibition is a prestigious showcase run by NZQA that celebrates the highest-achieving NCEA Visual Arts portfolios from across Aotearoa New Zealand.
This is an outstanding accomplishment and reflects the students’ creativity, dedication, and willingness to take risks in their practice. Being chosen for Top Art places them among the top secondary school art students in the country, and we congratulate them on this remarkable success.

This year’s Top Art selection of folios will be divided into three touring exhibitions across the North, Middle, and South of New Zealand. We can’t guarantee that these students will be part of the South Island selection but it can be viewed at the Christchurch Art Gallery from 8 April to 15 April. We encourage you to visit the exhibition and experience these outstanding folios in person, especially our current Art students, who will find it both inspiring and motivating to see what is possible for their senior folios.
