Our Board
Board members
The Burnside High School Board is elected every three years. The Board consists of five elected members, a staff and a student representative and the principal and associate principal of our school.
The Board has oversight of our strategic direction and governance, ensuring that we meet our legal, financial and compliance obligations. Operational management of the school is delegated to the principal.

Board meetings and minutes
We welcome members of our school community to get involved and support our students wherever possible. We extend an invitation to those interested in our governance arrangements and performance to attend our Board meetings, which are held in public, in the Burnside High School Boardroom.
Should you wish to attend, please contact us on admin@burnside.school.nz so we know to expect you. We can then make arrangements for you to access the building, as the meetings are held outside normal office hours.
