We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Year 13 student Taylah Zhang, who has successfully gained admission to Shanghai Theatre Academy, one of China’s top universities specialising in performing arts.
Taylah has been accepted into the university’s Ballet Dance Program, where she will have the opportunity to pursue her passion for ballet and further develop her skills at one of China’s leading performing arts institutions.
Moving from Christchurch to Shanghai is a significant step, and we are sure it will bring her many new experiences, challenges and opportunities. Studying ballet at a prestigious performing arts university will allow Taylah to learn from experienced professionals, broaden her artistic horizons and continue working towards her dreams.
Taylah’s achievement is a wonderful reflection of her talent, dedication, perseverance and passion for dance. Her success is also an inspiration to our students, showing that with commitment and determination, it is possible to pursue your dreams on an international stage.
