Congratulations to the 56 students who performed with distinction at the regional Polyfest celebration in Hagley Park.
The students had a amazing day of fun-filled experiences. The day started at school at 6.30am and culminated in their spectacular performance around midday.
The performance was incredible and it highlighted three different cultures in the performance set. Those involved had practiced extremely hard over the six weeks leading up to the festival and their dedication and commitment to their performance was commendable. This included a full dress rehearsal – Fiafia night – on the Thursday prior to the event where parents and supporters were able to critique their performance and provide constructive advice.
Our Polyfest uniforms, and the garlands that were worn, were also incredible. Thank you to everyone, students, tutors, teachers and the band for their dedication and helping to make this event so successful.
