We are delighted to share that Rakipaoa, our new 14-classroom teaching block remains on schedule to open in term three. This week, the new turfed area between Rakipaoa and M Block opened!
Rakipaoa will be the new home of our Social Sciences and English teams in term three. Alongside this new building our Board has funded the installation of new artificial turf and walkways to enable better pedestrian access into our school from Memorial Avenue.
We are sure that you will agree that having the fences down is a huge milestone for our property upgrades in this area of our campus.
We see this area as another gathering space, similar to our quad area, so ball sports won’t be permissible but rather it will become a space to gather and meet with friends during school break periods.
We are looking forward to having Rakipaoa operational in term three.
