Samoa Language Week Celebrations

The 2026 theme for Samoa Language Week is “‘E afua mai i mauga tetele manuia o le ‘nu’u – From the high mountains are the blessings of the village.”

Our Pasifika leaders will be running activities throughout the week

Wednesday Lunchtime

2. Lape (traditional Samoan game) on the upper rugby field, bring your PE shoes

3. Kogi kogi ga i’a (traditional Samoan game) on the upper rugby field, bring your PE shoes

Friday Lunchtime

4. Head over to Pukehinau at 1.00pm to try some traditional Sapasui
   You’ll be asked to say a phrase in Samoan so you can practice on the links below. Just click on the download button to hear the phrase come through the speakers.
