Hamish Inwood competed at the National Swimming Championships over the week and came out on top!
Hamish competed in four events – freestyle and butterfly across different distances and achieved personal bests (PBs) in all of his races.
Swimming is an extremely competitive sport and Hamish came away with some incredible results.
He now holds these national rankings:

50 metre Freestyle – 11th nationally for 17/18 boys (as a 17 year old)

100 metre Freestyle – 15th nationally for 17/18 boys

50 metre Freestle – 2nd nationally for 17/18 boys but the fastest 17 year old

100 metre Butterfly – 2nd nationally for 17/18 boys and 10th for all males nationally.
Hamish swam the following times – all personal bests.
