Permanent, part-time (37.5 hours per week with flexible rostered hours), term time only (with an additional two weeks per year to be negotiated) position to commence at the start of Term 2 (Monday 29 April)
Waimairi-iri Burnside High School, a well-respected and successful school of 2500 students, is seeking an enthusiastic and positive Library Manager to lead the school’s Library/Research Centre.
Skills and experience
Applicants should possess the following attributes:
- An ability to lead and interact positively with students and staff
- Self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic
- Enthusiasm for literature for young adults and a desire to successfully match books with readers
- Competent IT skills
- Strong personal organisational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Friendly, approachable manner
Remuneration will be in line with the current Support Staff in Schools’ Collective Agreement.
Police clearance will be undertaken.
